Visited Sat night in a group of 4. Managed to get a table that had to be vacated by 7.30pm. Book in advance preferable. Food of good quality and at a reasonable price.
I had the works burger at £7.50. The Gammon was about £9.50 and looked good. We devoured all presented to us.
Beers were good. Ghost ship was off but replaced with another of quality.
Absolutely ???? %, staff very approachable, friendly. Super clean toilets. Since refurbished it looks really fab. The small roast dinner was gorgeous, turkey, roast potatoes, veg, mash, gravy boat. Also in small, medium or large portions. The scampi was delicious and lovely chips and peas.
Well done to the staff, really enjoyable today!!!
First time visiting here for food and won't be the last! Fantastic food, friendly attentive staff with a lovely warm family feel welcome. Will definitely visit again when in the area and would highly recommend.
